Where exactly is the house?

On Horseshoe Lake in Woodland, Washington, about 20 minutes north of Vancouver and 35 minutes from Portland International Airport. The full address is sent 48 hours before check in.

Is the dock private?

Yes. It belongs to the property, not a shared community dock. You can launch kayaks, paddleboards, or your own boat (we recommend trailering since there is no on site ramp).

How does the damage waiver work?

Every stay includes an $89 damage waiver covering accidental damage up to $3,000. Above the waiver, the card on file covers the $3,000 deductible. No security deposit is held during your stay.

Why book direct here instead of Airbnb?

Same house, but the rate is roughly 10% lower because we skip Airbnb's guest service fee. You also get direct access to Nathan (the owner) for anything you need.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer (ACH) is the default and carries zero fees. Credit and debit cards work too, with a 3% surcharge passed to you. Zelle and wire are also accepted with no fees.

What's the cancellation policy?

Full refund up to 30 days before check in. 50% refund up to 14 days before. No refund within 14 days. Travel insurance is available at checkout.

Yes, pets are welcome. Let us know in your booking notes how many and what kind so we can prep accordingly. Service and assistance animals are always allowed.
